Crafting is a very beautiful hobby and it really unleashes one's creativity. It's not easy tho, and I didn't even know that I had the talent for it until recently. For many years I have focused on my photography and occasions digital and traditional arts.
While spending my break time on YouTube, I came across really beautiful miniature sweets and I thought that they were really cool. I love food designs but I can't bake (yet) because I have no oven here at home. The thought then hit me, "this is the closes I can get in making kawaii food art!"
Well, that's where it all began!

The first ones I made were very amateur but it did satisfy me - I did realize that I have a talent for crafting after doing it the first time. I've never done any of these before, ever! Of course, I was really happy because this means I can bring my ideas to life!
The process of learning is never ending. I always do a lot research to find ways how to do things, integrate it with my own and discover my personal techniques. It's fun and sometimes frustrating, because like I usually say in my hair dye tutorials, what works for me may not work with you. It also applies with crafting - sometimes even if you use the same products and procedures the outcomes may still change.
I've recently bought Amazing Casting Resin that turns white (not clear) in 10 minutes. It was sealed but for some reason it became frothy and hardened in three minutes! It was such a waste so I guess I'm staying away from that product. I did a bit of research and figured it could be the moisture. Perhaps PH is too humid for it? I'm not sure, I can definitely try again when I'm in Oshkosh - it will be a lot more dry there.

I'm sticking with my choice using Easy Cast Resin for my charms for now :3 Excuse the jello-charm, I just don't have more pics atm LOL
Doing clay and resin pieces is fun and exciting. But finding out which products to buy and if it will work for a certain technique (e.g. making DIY whipped cream), it can be challenging.
With that in mind, I'm planning to put up videos with my (mis)adventures! I'm just not sure whether to create a new channel for it or just integrate it with my existing one. Now that will be a challenge too!
To cut it short, I'm really so excited for the things to come! I'll also be updating about my new work area once I'm able to move. I'm going to have a mini-office where I can do work and crafts. I'll share with you lovelies all the fun things and the organizing/decorating stage ^.^
